This is the side view of the guardhouse. You can tell where the add on have been made. I think it would have been cool to own a house that was at one time the guardhouse for Fort Howard. Zachary Taylor must have spent some time there as well.Local news reports that the guardhouse will be restored at Heritage Hill at a cost of around $300,000 and an educational program will be developed around it.
