Life of the River: River Revival
This is a photo of all four pieces of the River Revival sculpture by Bounnak Thammavong. Ironically a real tree is blocking some of the sculptured tree.

Life of the River: Frog for Dinner
There's the frog! Despite the rust this is the newest of the sculptures, according to their web site, anyway. This piece is done by Stephen Fairfield and is located near downtown on the east site of the Fox River along the Fox River Trail.

Life of the River: Frog for Dinner
This is the photo of the same sculpture that I took earlier in the year ... when things were greener. Still can't really see a frog though.

Life of the River: River Monolith
This monument is a closeup of the photo from yesterday and from the other side. It's essentially a two google earth maps of the east and west sides of Green Bay and using space to show the Fox River.

Life of the River: Johnson Insurance and Coming Into Light
Another of Tom's photos from the Fox River. This is some flopping fish art (called "Coming Into Light") along the trail behind Johnson Insurance on the east side and near downtown.
I have a photo from the trail of this same art that I'll feature tomorrow.

Fishing By the Lewis J. Kuber
Another boat (technically a self unloading barge) the Lewis J. Kuber is unloading gravel for concrete. The large pile is just south of the mouth of the Fox River. You can see the west side of the Leo Frigo Bridge in the background.Again, the photo is another of Tom's great fishing trip photos.
