This was really my favorite of the flowers ... it was the closest to blue.
I think I like the "painted" or "mixed media" feel I got from this photo. This was more a side effect of the wind while I was trying to focus, than anything I did deliberately.
As usual, I don't know what kind of plant this is, but I like it and I'm pretty sure it's not actually lavender. I've got at least one more round of flowers in me ... and I've got to say people really prefer the reds and purples. Are there a lot of blue flowers? I'd like to see some of those.
Flower Week: Yellow (and White) with a free insect. I wonder if there still will be flowers in bloom next month. Maybe I'll have a vegetable week.
Last of the Reds today ... although they'll be plenty of those tonight at the fireworks.
Day four and we're still in the red family ... sort of. I still think they are great while they last. As long as I don't have to breathe the pollen.
Just another nice flower blossom in the "red" family.
Tuesday: Sticking with the deep reds on day two. I saw these all in the same area. Again, couldn't tell you any more than I'm pretty sure it's not an animal or mineral.
