I saw this swarm of yellow jacket on that walkway to nowhere by the spinning train trestle on the Fox River. Their friends have since built two houses higher up on my house. I'll deal with them when the weather turns colder.I don't know what they were eating and I really don't want to know.
I'm impressed you were willing to get that close to them! Good shot. They're quite striking, actually.
